Dr Robert Caudwell will run the practice as a single-handed GP.

Dr Emma Bouskill who joined the practice in January 2018 will continue in her role as a salaried GP at the practice.

Our nurse clinician Gill Burke who also joined us in January 2018 will be working across four days per week alongside the GPs. Gill Burke is a highly experienced Nurse Clinician who can diagnose and treat patients at the surgery or on a home visit. Nurse clinicians can independently assess, diagnose, treat and follow up your care as a doctor would.  The Advanced Practice Masters degree is structured in a very similar fashion to the GP training scheme.  Our nurse clinician has unlimited prescribing authority like a GP.

Nurse clinicians and GPs in the practice all work to the same standards, pathways, and guidance.  You can book in to see our nurse clinician as you would a GP.  In statute, the only limitations to the nurse clinician role are the requirement for death certificates and sick notes to be signed exclusively by a doctor.  If you need a sick note, a Nurse clinician will be able to arrange this during the appointment for later collection.

Dr Caudwell will be the named GP for all patients registered at the practice, for more information on the named GP please click on the link: Named GP
